Introduction
Nami is a productivity app for managing goals, tasks, focus sessions, and progress. NamiGoals operates this service. This policy applies to the Nami app and namigoals.com. The website is a static informational site and does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
Information Nami processes
Account and authentication information
Nami uses Google Sign-In. To create and operate an account, the app processes the Google account identifier, email address, display name, and, when available, profile image URL supplied through Google Sign-In.
Product information you create
Nami processes the information you choose to enter for goals, sub-goals, tasks, notes, schedules, and completion state. It also processes focus timer sessions and time logs, including start/end time, duration, effective time, and efficiency score, so progress and in-app analytics can work.
Settings and feedback
Nami stores preferences such as theme, language, time format, timezone, notification and reminder settings, and view preferences. If you submit feedback from the app, Nami processes your message and may include the category, app version, and device information that the app sends with that feedback.
How information is used
Nami uses this information to authenticate you, keep your account separate from other users, provide goal/task/timer features, calculate and display progress and statistics, preserve your settings, schedule requested reminders, respond to feedback, and protect the service from misuse.
Authentication and service providers
Google provides the Google Sign-In service used for authentication. Nami's production application service runs on Google Cloud Run and stores application data in Neon PostgreSQL. Firebase is used for the Nami production project and Firebase Hosting serves this static website. These providers process information only as needed to supply their respective infrastructure and authentication services.
Notifications
The current mobile app uses local device notifications for reminders and timer-related events that you enable. This website does not request notification permission. Nami does not describe the current mobile release as using a client-integrated remote push-notification service.
Data retention, export, and deletion
Nami keeps account and product data while your account is active so that the app can provide its features. You can delete your account from the app in Settings → Account → Delete account. The deletion request removes the account and associated product and operational records used by Nami, including goals, tasks, time logs, timer records, settings, feedback, and server-tracked session records.
Nami does not currently publish a separate public backup-retention schedule. Provider-managed backups or logs may retain limited information temporarily according to their operational policies.
Security
Nami uses authenticated access and managed infrastructure in operating the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please keep control of your Google account and device.
Children and age considerations
Nami does not currently publish a separate age policy or age-gating flow. If you are responsible for a child who has used Nami and have a privacy concern, use the in-app Feedback option from the account to contact the product team.
Changes to this policy
Nami may update this policy as the app or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
